Microsoft has told customers to ignore a new wave of CertificateServicesClient (CertEnroll) errors that appear after installing the July 2025 preview update and subsequent Windows 11 24H2 updates.

The company confirmed that while these errors show up in Event Viewer, they have no impact on the operating system’s functionality and require no action from users.

This isn’t the first time Microsoft has issued such advice. In recent months, it has addressed several similar issues where erroneous warnings appeared without affecting system performance. For example:

  • June 2025: Users were told to disregard Windows Firewall configuration errors appearing after a reboot.
  • April 2025: Microsoft fixed invalid 0x80070643 failure errors after installing Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) updates.
  • April 2025: A BitLocker bug triggered false drive encryption warnings due to a reporting issue, later resolved.

In its latest advisory, Microsoft added another entry to its “ignore list.” This one is Error ID 57, stating that “The ‘Microsoft Pluton Cryptographic Provider’ provider was not loaded because initialization failed.”

The company explained that this is linked to a feature still under development and not yet fully integrated into Windows. The error will appear every time the device restarts, but it does not indicate any problem with active components.

Microsoft reiterated that these errors have no effect on system processes and users do not need to troubleshoot or apply fixes.
