Microsoft has added a new tool called Bing Video Creator to the Bing app, which lets users create videos from text prompts using OpenAI’s Sora model.
To use it, you need to sign in with a Microsoft account. You can create 10 videos for free. After that, each video will cost 100 Microsoft Rewards points. You can earn points by searching with Bing or shopping in the Microsoft Store. For example, searching on a PC gives you 5 points each time, with a daily limit of 150 points.

Right now, the tool only works in the Bing mobile app, not on desktop. It also has some other limits. You can only make three videos at a time, each one is just five seconds long, and all videos are in vertical format (9:16). This format works well for apps like TikTok and Instagram. Microsoft says it will add support for horizontal videos soon.
The video creator may take a long time to make videos, even in “fast” mode, which is supposed to be quicker. Still, the new feature gives people a new way to make short videos right from their phones.
