Instagram is rolling out powerful new updates to Edits, its recently launched video editing tool that closely mirrors CapCut.
The update introduces keyframes — a highly requested feature among creators that enables precise animation and control over video elements, such as scale, position, and rotation.
In addition to keyframes, Instagram has added a wider range of text effects, giving users more creative freedom when adding captions or headlines to their content. Another notable improvement is the voice enhancement feature, which lets creators improve the clarity and quality of voiceovers directly within the app.
These upgrades were officially announced via the Instagram Creators account, emphasizing Meta’s continued push to support short-form video creation natively on its platform, without relying on third-party apps.
