Google is adding a new feature to its Gemini AI assistant that makes it more useful for everyday tasks.

Called “Scheduled Actions,” this update allows Gemini Pro and Ultra users to schedule tasks for specific times, making the assistant feel more like a personal helper.

With this feature, users can ask Gemini to do things like summarize their calendar at the end of each day or suggest blog post ideas every Monday. It also works for one-time tasks, such as providing a summary of an event or showing the next day.

“Just tell Gemini what you need and when, and it will take care of the rest,” Google said in a blog post announcing the update.

Users can view and manage their scheduled tasks by visiting the “Scheduled Actions” section in the Gemini app’s settings. The feature was first spotted in testing by Android Authority earlier this year.
