Google has rolled out three major updates to its Gemini-powered products, bringing new features to the Gemini app, Google Search, and NotebookLM.
The Gemini app now supports audio file uploads, a feature Google says was the most requested. Free users can upload up to 10 minutes of audio and five prompts daily, while Gemini Advanced (AI Pro and AI Ultra) subscribers can upload up to three hours. Each prompt supports up to 10 files across different formats, including ZIP archives.
Google Search’s AI Mode is also expanding, now available in Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. Powered by Gemini 2.5, the update allows users to ask complex questions in their native language and receive AI-powered answers alongside web results.
Meanwhile, NotebookLM, Google’s AI-powered research and note-taking tool, now generates structured reports in more than 80 languages. The new options include study guides, briefing documents, blog posts, flashcards, and quizzes. Users can further customize reports by adjusting tone, style, and structure. Google says the feature will be fully available by the end of this week.
