Google is expanding access to its Gemini AI assistant inside the Chrome browser, bringing the feature to more countries.
Users in Canada, New Zealand, and India can now use Gemini directly within Chrome. The built-in AI assistant also supports more than 50 languages, including Spanish, French, Hindi, and Chinese, making it easier for people across different regions to interact with it.
Gemini in Chrome can understand and answer questions about what appears on your screen. For example, if you are reading an article or browsing a website, you can ask Gemini to explain or summarize the content without leaving the page.
The assistant can also help complete tasks across different tabs. It can create comparison tables for products you are viewing, assist with sending messages in Gmail, and even remix or edit images that appear online.
By integrating Gemini directly into the browser, Google aims to make everyday browsing more interactive and productive. The update allows users to get help, organize information, and perform quick tasks without switching between multiple tools or apps.
