Google is making Gmail’s AI writing tool feel more personal.
The company says it is now rolling out a new feature for its Help me write tool that can generate emails in a tone and style that sounds more like the user.
The feature is designed to personalize email drafts based on how someone usually writes. Depending on the prompt, Help me write can also use relevant context from Google Drive and Gmail to make the message more useful and accurate.

With this update, Google is trying to make AI-generated emails feel less generic and more natural. Instead of producing a standard draft, Gmail’s AI tool can now create messages that better match the user’s usual writing style.
