Facebook has quietly added a new double tap feature that lets users like posts, reels, and videos instantly.
Similar to Instagram, you can now just tap twice on the screen to give a like, making the interaction much faster and smoother. Earlier, users had to press the like button at the bottom of a post, but this update makes liking content more natural and convenient.
Other reactions such as Love, Haha, Wow, Care, Sad, and Angry still work the same way—you need to hold down the like button to choose them. The new double tap feature is currently available only on the Facebook mobile app and is not yet visible on the web version.
Meta has not officially announced this update, but many users have already spotted the change. People are calling it a simple and more intuitive way to engage with content on the platform.
