Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao has warned cryptocurrency users about a phishing website impersonating Trust Wallet to steal funds.

The fraudulent domain, trastwallet.cam, mimics the legitimate trustwallet.com website and reportedly prompts visitors to connect their cryptocurrency wallets to scan their balances. Security researcher Anurag described how the site’s JavaScript targets Trust Wallet, Phantom, and OKX wallets, potentially allowing attackers to drain connected wallets.

Users have reported unauthorized transfers and linked the activity to a previous Trust Wallet browser extension compromise in December 2025, which reportedly resulted in millions of dollars in losses.

The warning has prompted renewed calls for users to verify wallet URLs carefully, access official websites by typing their addresses directly into the browser, and avoid connecting wallets to unfamiliar or unverified services.
