Bill Gates has strongly denied new allegations that surfaced in recently released Jeffrey Epstein-related documents, calling the claims “absolutely absurd and completely false.”

The controversy comes from a fresh batch of files released by the U.S. Department of Justice, which include draft emails believed to have been written by Jeffrey Epstein. The emails make unverified claims that Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease and allegedly wanted to secretly give antibiotics to his former wife, Melinda French Gates. The drafts also contain references to supposed “trysts” with married women and “Russian girls.”

According to reporting by Business Insider, a spokesperson for Gates dismissed the allegations outright, stating that the documents only reflect Epstein’s frustration over not having an ongoing relationship with Gates. The spokesperson added that Epstein appeared willing to go to extreme lengths to “entrap and defame” the billionaire philanthropist.

It remains unclear who the “Boris” mentioned in the draft emails actually refers to, or whether the messages were ever sent. Notably, Epstein is listed as both the sender and recipient of the emails, raising further questions about their authenticity and intent.

Gates’ past association with Epstein has been under scrutiny for years. While Gates previously acknowledged meeting Epstein, he has said those interactions were limited to discussions around philanthropy and fundraising, later calling the relationship a “huge mistake.” Melinda French Gates has also publicly stated that Bill Gates’ ties to Epstein contributed to her decision to divorce.
