Apple has officially introduced the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, featuring a brand-new aluminum unibody design, the powerful A19 Pro chip, and major camera upgrades.
The new models promise faster performance, better thermal management, and the longest battery life ever on an iPhone.
Both devices come with three 48MP Fusion cameras — Main, Ultra Wide, and a new Telephoto — offering up to 8x optical-quality zoom, the highest on any iPhone. The 18MP Center Stage front camera brings wider shots, AI-powered framing, and support for 4K HDR video. Apple also added new pro-level video features like ProRes RAW, Log 2, and genlock for filmmakers and creators.
The iPhone 17 Pro lineup uses Ceramic Shield 2 on both front and back, delivering 3x better scratch resistance and 4x better crack resistance compared to earlier models. The Super Retina XDR display now reaches 3,000 nits of peak outdoor brightness with improved anti-reflection.
Powered by iOS 26, the iPhone 17 Pro supports Apple Intelligence features, Wi-Fi 7, and eSIM-only models in select countries. Available in deep blue, cosmic orange, and silver, pre-orders start on September 12, with availability on September 19.
