Apple has announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3, the most advanced Apple Watch yet, bringing major upgrades in health, fitness, and connectivity.

The new model now includes built-in satellite communications, allowing users to text emergency services, message friends and family, and share their location even when off the grid.

The Ultra 3 features the largest screen ever on an Apple Watch, powered by LTPO3 and wide-angle OLED display technology, offering better brightness, thinner borders, and a new always-on refresh rate of 1Hz. It delivers up to 42 hours of battery life, which can be extended to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. With 5G connectivity, downloads, calls, and messaging are faster and more reliable.

On the health side, Apple introduced hypertension notifications that can detect signs of chronic high blood pressure, as well as a new Sleep Score to help users better understand and improve their sleep quality. Fitness enthusiasts also get Workout Buddy, an AI-powered feature that provides real-time personalized motivation, plus enhanced GPS accuracy and workout tracking.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is built with recycled titanium and cobalt, supporting Apple’s 2030 carbon-neutral goals. It is available in natural or black titanium finishes with new band collections. Pre-orders are open now, with official availability starting September 19.
