Adidas has confirmed that some customer data was stolen in a recent cyber attack.
In a statement released last week, the company said that an “unauthorized external party” accessed the contact information of people who had reached out to Adidas’ customer service in the past.
The company made it clear that the stolen data does not include passwords, credit card details, or any other payment-related information.
Adidas has started a full investigation and is working with top cybersecurity experts. They are also in the process of informing the customers who may have been affected.
