Abrigo has restored most of its Sageworks lending and risk-management platform after taking it offline on October 30 following “irregular activity” in its environment. Borrower-facing capabilities remain unavailable, according to Abrigo’s status page and BleepingComputer’s report.
The outage affected Online Portal Now, Sageworks Analyst and Sageworks API. Abrigo said it disabled the application at approximately 11:25 a.m. Eastern time on October 30 while it investigated the activity. By November 2, most Sageworks functions had returned, but borrower-facing features were still down.
Sageworks helps lenders process loan applications, analyze borrowers’ finances, assess creditworthiness and monitor loan portfolios. Abrigo says more than 2,400 financial institutions use its services, but it has not disclosed how many customers were affected by the outage.
Abrigo has not publicly identified whether the incident was a cyberattack or a technical problem, or whether customer information was accessed.
