TikTok has introduced a new way for creators to label content that has been generated using artificial intelligence (AI). This is a welcome move, as AI-generated content can be increasingly difficult to distinguish from real-world content.
The new labeling feature is simple to use. Creators simply need to toggle on a switch when uploading a video that has been created or edited with AI. This will add a small label to the video that says “AI-generated.”
TikTok is also testing a way to automatically label AI-generated content. This would make it even easier for viewers to identify content that has been created with AI.
