Streaming giant Netflix marks 16 years today since it launched its streaming services.
Netflix has grown into a juggernaut in the entertainment world, the chatter even then was all about Netflix’s competition — though, in this case, instead of Amazon, Apple, and Warner Discovery: it was Blockbuster.
At launch, there were only 1,000 movies and TV shows available to stream, compared to the 70,000 DVD titles it had at the time.
