An Indian telecommunications company Jio has completed its third quarter to December 31st with ₹22,858 crores in revenue.
The telco increased its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) by 120% from ₹3,857 crores in the third quarter of last year to ₹8,483 crores this year. This flowed through to a 158% increase in net profit to ₹3,489 crores.
As of the end of 2020, Jio said it had just shy of 411 million customers, with average monthly revenue per user sitting at ₹151, or $2.07. Total data usage during the quarter was 1.58 exabytes.
