Apple is reportedly planning to discontinue its social media customer support channels, including X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and the Apple Support Community forum.
The change is expected to take effect on October 1st, 2023.
The move is said to be part of Apple’s efforts to streamline its customer support operations and reduce costs. Apple has not yet confirmed the change, but it has been reported by several reliable sources.
Customers who need help with their Apple products will still be able to get support through the company’s website, phone lines, and retail stores. However, they will no longer be able to contact Apple directly through social media.
However, it is not the first time that a major tech company has made this move. In recent years, both Microsoft and Google have also discontinued their social media customer support channels.
It remains to be seen how the change will affect Apple’s customer support. However, it is clear that the company is committed to providing its customers with the best possible experience.
